Consistent Strategies for Winning in Blackjack
Posted on24. Sep, 2010 by admin.
Blackjack is often called a game of luck, but this is only because many people just simply don’t understand how much skill can factor into the outcome of a blackjack game. The game is a healthy mixture of luck and decision making. However, ultimately the fate of the game will come down to the decisions made by the players, not the cards themselves. The following tips can help you make the right decision during a blackjack game.
If you get any of the cards – Jack, Queen, King or 10, then you will most likely have a winning combination if you don;t bust. Always draw when you have one of these cards. If you have less than nine points in your hand then it is also advisable to draw at all times.
If the cards in your hand add up to a number between 12 and 16, and the dealer’s hand adds up to more than 7, then the next card you draw will most likely be of a lower value.
If the cards in your hand add up to a number between 17 and 21 then you should stand in all cases. The chances of you getting a low enough card to avoid the bust is very slim, so it is best to simply back out before you ruin your chances completely.
